Aims
To evaluate the effectiveness of a 4-module online nutrition course for community nurses.
Background
Community nurses faced challenges managing patients with nutritional issues at home due to a lack of dietetic services and training.
Methods
Developed an online course focusing on malnutrition, boosting intake, supplements, and tube feeding; assessed through completion rates, quizzes, and feedback.
Results
96% of nurses found the course useful; 89% passed quizzes by the third attempt; 98% would recommend it.
Conclusion
The course aligns with Healthier SG goals, showing potential for broader adoption among community partners.
Lessons Learnt
LMS-based training improves accessibility and knowledge retention.
