Aims
To establish an Asia-Pacific programme enhancing patient safety leadership within the WHO GPSAP framework.
Background
Patient safety is a global health priority recognized by the WHO. The GALLOPS programme was designed to address this need.
Methods
Developed curriculum aligned with WHO GPSAP, with assessment tools and a collaborative implementation approach.
Results
99.2% participants agreed the programme met objectives; 96.8% recommended it. Network established for knowledge-sharing.
Conclusion
GALLOPS effectively builds leadership capabilities and fosters a network for continuous improvement in patient safety.
Lessons Learnt
Collaborative platforms like GALLOPS enhance patient safety leadership and practices across Asia-Pacific.
