Methods

Plan-Do-Check-Act methodology, time-motion study, implemented clean technique to replace sterile technique while maintaining efficacy and safety.

Results

Reduced man-hours from 168 to 12.6 per month. Dressing costs reduced from $378 to $63 per month. Improved team synergy and streamlined nursing care.

Conclusion

Modified clean technique proved effective in ensuring patient safety while reducing costs and effort.

Lessons Learnt

Sustainability through regular audits and staff training. Improved patient outcomes and reduced resource burden.
