Aims
Evaluate the effectiveness of Alter G gait training on balance, strength, and fall reduction.
Background
Patients had limited walking ability due to fatigue, pain, and fear of falling.
Methods
6-month study with 30 patients, 8 Alter G sessions over 2-3 weeks with pre- and post-analysis.
Results
Improved TUG and BBS scores; no change in STS scores due to weight support from Alter G.
Conclusion
Alter G provides a safe, supported environment for fall prevention in vulnerable populations.
Lessons Learnt
Alter G can improve balance and strength but needs resistance training for full lower-limb benefits.
