Aims

Background
Manual tracking of nursing training records led to inefficiencies, fragmented documentation, and lost records. E-TRAIN ensures a structured, paperless, and automated training record system.
Methods
A structured, IT-driven competency assessment and training record system was developed, integrating Affinity Diagram analysis and Lean Six Sigma approaches for workflow optimization.
Results
E-TRAIN improved record management, reduced administrative workload, enhanced efficiency, and ensured secure storage of professional training history. Cost and time savings were achieved.
Conclusion
E-TRAIN successfully streamlined training management, improving documentation, reducing inefficiencies, and supporting professional knowledge retention.
Lessons Learnt
IT solutions require structured integration into workflow processes. Standardized procedures and continuous staff training are necessary for sustainability.
