Aims
To reduce LOI printouts and develop a sustainable digital workflow for Endocrinology referrals.
Background
Manual printing of LOIs for MINDEF referrals caused inefficiencies, paper wastage, and workflow delays.
Methods
Introduced shared folders for digital storage and retrieval of LOIs, eliminating the need for printing.
Results
Saved 108 printouts/month, reduced staff walking/searching time by 324 minutes/month, and improved workflow efficiency.
Conclusion
Digitalization of LOI processes improved efficiency, reduced paper wastage, and created scalable workflows.
Lessons Learnt
Sustainable digital workflows reduce time, errors, and improve environmental sustainability.
