About this Content
Aims
Develop a seamless digital platform for asset maintenance and transportation management, improving efficiency and reducing operational workload.
Background
Manual reporting of defects and transportation planning required extensive manpower, leading to inefficiencies, miscommunication, and operational delays.
Methods
Implemented a Computerized Asset Maintenance System (CAMS) for real-time defect tracking and a Transport Management System (TMS) for optimized transport scheduling and real-time notifications.
Results
Asset maintenance time reduced by 132 man-hours monthly. Transport planning reduced by 500 man-hours per month, improving patient engagement time by 30.83 hours per center.
Conclusion
CAMS and TMS improved asset reliability, reduced transportation inefficiencies, and enhanced overall service performance. Future developments will focus on optimizing ESG considerations for CO2 tracking.
Lessons Learnt
Integration of asset and transport management under one digital platform significantly improves efficiency and resource allocation.
