Methods
Conducted a qualitative case study using semi-structured interviews with 10 SSNs from Medical and Surgical Wards; analyzed data thematically.
Results
Identified themes such as the value of CPD, motives for participation, and factors like work-life balance, communication gaps, and management support as key influences.
Conclusion
CPD programs tailored to individual and organizational needs enhance learning outcomes and workforce development.
Lessons Learnt
Engaging nursing supervisors in collaborative career planning and flexible CPD strategies fosters better participation and staff satisfaction.
