Aims
Communicate Safe Management Measures (SMM) to staff to prevent COVID-19 workplace transmission.
Background
Effective communication was critical to ensuring compliance with SMM and maintaining workplace safety.
Methods
Multi-prong communication approach with bite-sized updates on Workplace@FB, notices, and markings.
Results
85 posts on Workplace@FB with at least 300 views each, 10 notices adapted to evolving measures, and numerous distancing markers deployed.
Conclusion
Effective SMM communication prevents workplace transmission and enhances safety culture.
Lessons Learnt
Regular updates keep staff engaged and informed despite communication challenges.
