Aims

Background
Video consultations were implemented during COVID-19 as a solution for chronic disease management.
Methods
Retrospective observational study comparing VC and FTF outcomes using propensity score matching.
Results
VC outcomes for HbA1c, systolic BP, and LDL-cholesterol were non-inferior to FTF within six months.
Conclusion
VC provides comparable outcomes to FTF, supporting its integration into chronic care management.
Lessons Learnt
Comprehensive evaluations, including safety, costs, and satisfaction, are essential for VC sustainability.
