Methods
Various discussions with the quality team and infection control nurse were done before implementation. The decision was made to use disposable laryngoscopes.
Results
The project demonstrated financial sustainability by saving costs in the long run and ensured SOC preparedness and readiness for medical emergencies.
Conclusion
Using disposable laryngoscopes can save significant sterilization costs and improve patient safety by minimizing infection risk during resuscitation
Lessons Learnt
Using disposable laryngoscopes is more cost-effective and improves patient safety.
