Background
Seniors living far from the center have difficulty accessing healthcare and wellness programs.
Methods
Collaborating with Whampoa South Resident’s Network to organize programs in local spaces, such as the Senior Care Corner
Results
Engaged 600 seniors, implemented 5 active aging programs, and connected 142 new seniors in the community
Conclusion
The initiative improved senior participation in active aging programs and facilitated cross-community engagement
Lessons Learnt
Engaging local networks for healthcare and wellness programs creates a more accessible and sustainable model
