Background
G.R.O.S.S. is a ground-up NUHS-wide effort to address key pain points in daily work by removing unnecessary complexity and wasteful activities.
Methods
The methodology involves workplace transformation through redesigned/streamlined processes, focusing on eliminating, simplifying, and automating tasks.
Results
The initiative aims to achieve an 80% Agility Index by FY23 and an 84% Best-in-Class Agility Index by FY25. The Agility Index improved from 66% in 2019 to 79% in 2022.
Conclusion
G.R.O.S.S. is a sustained campaign and a key driver for improving productivity and staff well-being.
Lessons Learnt
Leadership commitment and communication are crucial, as every staff suggestion is reviewed and acknowledged, with 100% follow-through.
