Manual account reviews were time-intensive and prone to errors, posing IT security risks.
Methods
Developed a tool using VBA scripts to review and flag non-compliant IT accounts automatically in SAP.
Results
Reduced review time by >90%; less than 5 minutes to run the tool; no additional software costs or steep learning curve.
Conclusion
The automated system enhances IT security by minimizing human error and manual workload.
Lessons Learnt
Automation reduces oversight, saves resources, and ensures higher compliance in IT account management.
