Background
Prior to the project, BME staff uploaded equipment records to the RTLS using an Excel spreadsheet.
Methods
Developed a software application that monitors CMMS for changes, transfers data securely, and updates RTLS records.
Results
Reduced manual data entry, reduced errors, enhanced efficiency, and streamlined workflows.
Conclusion
Successfully improved the efficiency and accuracy of the RTLS system, saving time and reducing errors.
Lessons Learnt
Automation can significantly reduce workload and errors, improving overall efficiency.
Additional Information
Data on CMMS changes was collected over 12 months, from November 2023 to October 2024.
