Examine the association of social isolation, participation, and loneliness with frailty among older adults.

Limited research on the longitudinal associations of social connections with frailty.
Methods
Population Health Index survey data from 606 participants analyzed using fixed-effects logistic regression models.
Results
Social participation linked to lower frailty; loneliness consistently associated with higher frailty.
Conclusion
Integrated strategies addressing loneliness and frailty are critical for improving outcomes.
Lessons Learnt
Addressing loneliness and frailty concurrently significantly improves well-being.
