Aims
Improve maternal and child health during the first 3 years through guidance, screening, and early intervention.
Background
Addressed developmental and nutritional concerns for mothers and children, leveraging well-child visits in primary care.
Methods
Implemented anticipatory guidance, lactation support, PND, and EDS screenings, along with education resources.
Results
Screened 5,561 mothers for PND and 8,624 children for developmental issues; introduced interventions for overweight children and lactation support.
Conclusion
Demonstrated the feasibility of mother-child dyad care in primary care settings, scaling to three more clinics in 2022.
Lessons Learnt
Integrated screening workflow improves access to care and early detection of health issues.
