Aims
Align patient safety messaging to create consistent and coordinated communication for staff engagement.
Background
Multiple safety projects at KKH needed aligned messaging under "Target Zero Harm." Communication gaps hampered engagement.
Methods
Developed videos, email blasts, Leaders’ Communication Decks, and used AHRQ surveys to gather data on staff perception.
Results
Survey participation reached 94%; materials downloaded/viewed 4,890+ times; cross-institutional adoption of communication tools.
Conclusion
Effective communication fosters a safety culture and supports organizational goals of harm prevention.
Lessons Learnt
Integrated messaging improves staff understanding and participation in safety initiatives.
