Aims
To start a formalized Osteoporosis Physiotherapy program for fall prevention and improved function.
Background
Lack of standardized care for osteopenia and osteoporosis patients led to ad-hoc interventions.
Methods
Developed a consolidated physiotherapy program with weekly 8-week sessions, and monitored patient outcomes.
Results
Enrolled 43 patients, 27 completed the program; demonstrated improved fall prevention and functional outcomes.
Conclusion
Formalized services improve patient engagement and address unmet care needs.
Lessons Learnt
Consistent service reviews enhance patient-centric care.
