Methods
In-depth interviews of caregivers involved in a holistic support program delivered at Tan Tock Seng Hospital during COVID-19.
Results
Three themes defined caregiver experiences: 'A World Overturned,' 'Burning on Both Ends,' and 'At Wits’ End.' Published manuscript elaborates findings.
Conclusion
Caregiving during COVID-19 was isolating and stressful, emphasizing the need for societal and community-level support initiatives.
Lessons Learnt
Supporting family caregivers' psychosocial and emotional needs is crucial. Psychological and educational support helps caregivers sustain caregiving.
